eTicketEasy ("we," "us," or "our") operates as a third-party service that assists travelers in completing the Dominican Republic government eTicket process. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our website and services. By using our service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

Account Information

Your email address and password (encrypted) used to create and manage your account.

Traveler Information (Pre-Payment)

First name, last name, and date of birth for each traveler included in your order.

Travel Details (Post-Payment)

Phone number, preferred contact method (SMS/WhatsApp), arrival and departure dates, airport, flight numbers, country of residence, passport number, passport expiration date, gender, and marital status. This information is required by the Dominican Republic government to complete the eTicket.

Payment Information

We use Stripe to process payments. We do not store your full credit card number. Stripe handles all payment data in accordance with PCI DSS standards. We receive only a transaction reference and the last four digits of your card.

Device & Usage Data

IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps collected automatically via standard web server logs.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information solely for the following purposes:

  • To process your eTicket order and submit the required information to the Dominican Republic immigration authority on your behalf.
  • To create and manage your account.
  • To communicate order status updates and deliver your completed eTicket QR code.
  • To respond to support inquiries.
  • To process payments via Stripe.
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Sharing

We share your personal information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Dominican Republic Government Portal: Traveler details are submitted to the official eTicket portal (eticket.migracion.gob.do) on your behalf. This is the core service you are purchasing.
  • Stripe: Payment information is processed by Stripe, Inc. in accordance with their privacy policy and PCI DSS compliance.
  • Email Service Provider: Your email address is shared with our transactional email provider solely to deliver order-related communications.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to valid legal requests.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account exists and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes. Passport numbers and sensitive travel document information are retained only as long as necessary to complete your order and for a limited period for order dispute resolution.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted passwords, secure hosting infrastructure, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information.

10. Third-Party Disclaimer

eTicketEasy is an independent third-party service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Dominican Republic government, the Dirección General de Migración, or any official government entity. The official eTicket portal is free of charge at eticket.migracion.gob.do. Our fee is for the convenience and accuracy of our service.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
